ericHello, my name is Eric, and I am the lead Pastor of Case Mountain Community. God has had me and others dreaming about Case for over eight years; four years of studying, two years of internship, and countless small group gatherings revealing God's desire for a "come as you are" community. I have been on an authentic journey with God my whole life, and since 1996 I have been seeking God through Christ, which is why we say "come as you are...no perfect people allowed"!
I started to work on my Master of Ministry with a concentration in New Testament theology, however I have switched schools and majors. Now I am studying at West Coast Seminary for a Masters in Religious Education (Christianity). In 2006, I finished an internship at VTC and my Bachelor of Theology from Christian International School of Theology, which led to my ordination in January of 2007.
I am married to an awesome chick named Katie. She is my best friend and my editor-in-chief. She has been my right hand throughout school and the internship at VTC. Ultimately, I am extremely interested in how Christianity will look in the world that the next generation grows up in.
JasonI desire to live a truthful life in God. I've found that this takes me along paths I could never have imagined; in joy and pain.
My adventure started in Phoenix and the road has included church planting (twice now), student leadership, a couple of short-term missions, a ministerial internship, moving across country, an amazing career in technology leadership, and a Master of Arts in Religious Studies from Hartford Seminary. But beyond all this, it has led me on a life of much contemplation and thought.
I'm the proud sibling of two younger sisters and the proud uncle of my niece, Jo, and nephew, Mat.
KatieI was born and raised in Austin, Texas and grew up in a Southern Baptist Church. I attended Wheaton College in Illinois
for my undergraduate degree and later received my Masters in Clinical
Psychology. I am currently working as an in-home family therapist.
